In 2024, the market environment developed predominantly favorably. The strength of our expertise in fixed income investments was clearly demonstrated by the strong demand for our fixed income products. We also welcomed new institutional customers through the competitive tendering of discretionary wealth management.
We continued our determined efforts to develop our award-winning wealth management
In 2024, we reclassified Aktia Emerging Market Corporate Bond+ under Article 8. We also clarified our short-term fixed income fund offering. Furthermore, in collaboration with Oaktree Capital Management, we launched the opportunistic debt fund Aktia Velkarahastot II for our institutional and Private Banking customers. Additionally, we issued four structured products during the year.
In spring 2024, the emerging market fund Aktia Emerging Market Local Currency Bond+ was recognized as the best fund in its category in Europe and the Nordic countries at the Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards. Aktia Wealth Allocation 25 also received an award in the Nordic category of the same ranking. In the Sijoittaja.fi survey, Aktia's Wealth Allocation funds were consistently ranked among the top in the balanced fund category. Balanced funds represent the full expertise of Aktia's asset management—successful funds, strong manager selection, and a strategic allocation vision.
We continued to enhance the Private Banking customer experience by upgrading our digital reporting. Additionally, we began a systematic effort to elevate our selection of alternative investment products to a new level.
